Happiest of Thanksgivings to all.
I hope this post finds you and your family enjoying the mainstays of Thanksgiving: food, family and fun. I cooked my traditional (or at least its my traditiion) deep fried turkey and as usual there is nothing left. That's why I always deep fry at least 2! There was enough food to feed a battlalion and I ate as much as I could.
I also want you to think about those that are fighting far away. Whether you support the efforts abroad or not, there are a lot of us who tonight will sleep in the desert far from family, alone but ever vigilant. I can tell you from experience that the holidays are the toughest times to spend stationed overseas. Keep them in your thoughts. I promise you that you are in theirs.
Eat, drink and be merry. Rarely do we get the chance to just sit down with family and eat like tomorrow is the Apocolypse or something! There's plenty of time to worry about work, school or whatever later so enjoy today.
And as we southerners like to say, Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll!

This year's thanksgiving was bad for me. First of all, when you see mash potatoes that look like Apple Sauce...yeah lol!
It's that pre-made stuff, not homemade (the way I like my tatoes)
hope you had a better Thanksgiving Dutch!
