Schweet mother of God!!
As I posted earlier, I finally got my big TV (46" Toshiba HD DLP TV, schweet) and yesterday I had the HD cable box delivered and HD feed turned on. UNFREAKIN' believable the picture is!! Damn, did I just have a Yoda sentence?
I just watched my first movie in HD and surround sound. I watched every minute, wide eyed and mouth hanigng open in disbelief. How good was the picture? Good enough for me to sit through the piece of cinematic crap known as Elecktra. For all the faults of the story and acting, the visuals were gorgeous and stunning in HD. I watched the detail of every rose petal and blade of grass. In my area Charter gives me 15 channels of HD and guess what? I only watch those 15 channels. The picture is so clear that I'd rather stay in and watch a HD broadcast of my front yard than venture out and have to rely on my crappy eyes for the picture. If it ain't in HD, I'm not watching it. I couldn't be more serious, you've gotta get HD.
By the way Xbox (Halo 2) and PS2 (God of War) are THE BEST!!

You know you've truly geeked out when you start talking like Yoda. And for any non-geek, you might as well be Linda Blair in the exorcist (was that Linda Blair?). Its just as frightening to them.
Dutch, I see you have blogpatrol now. Do you like it? I find it very interesting to see how people find me. I get a lot from joystiq and dvorak uncensored. Do you use the gvisit map as well? Thats really fun!
Ya know whats crazy? The majority of people who visit me are using IE as their browser. I'm gonna have to do a lecture post and provide a link to mozilla's FireFox for these people.
