So many new gadgets I've been checking out.

Yes, its been way too long since I've talked/posted about some tech goodness but I've been busy with work I swear. Not to mention I've been flooded with all sorts of new cool gadgets to try out! Two things I think we can always have better? Memory and batteries. Well, this is about the latter. Check these out.
Finally something to plug into my USB ports that ain't a worthless gadget. These USB batteries work just like regular ones, but when they run out of the juice you just "pop the top" and plug them into any USB port. Now that's genius! The NiMH (nickel-metal-hydride) batteries will charge up in about 5 hours from any powered USB connector. 5 hours is too long you say? Well think about it. Your battery powered device is going to sit by you while you're working away at your computer so just plug the batteries in and they're recharged before you know it.

Right now they're only available in AA's for around $25 for a two-pack, but the manufacturer (USBCELL of the U.K, those darn smart brits) is looking at making a whole line including AAA's, 9-volt, and even models for cell phones. Now that's putting that USB port to good use!
