It's about time we get our Star Trek phaser gun!

It was only a matter of time before we finally got some cool sci-fi inspired weapon in our hot little hands. Well we don't have to wait any longer, I give you the The Personal Halting and Stimulation Response or PHaSR.
Yes the name is ludicrous but have you been looking at military acronyms? They're all hilarious. This little gem comes from our Air Force and is one heck of a stun gun. How does it stun you ask? It throws out a concentrated nonlethal beam of laser light that effects you like walking out from a dark movie theater into the bright sunshine. The goal behind the weapon is to give a better nonlethal way to control angry crowds (think all the people that won't get the PS3 at launch) or for perimeter defense at military checkpoints. Here's the rub though, will my coolio Oakley sunglasses protect me from the PHaSR? Man that would suck if they did and they spent all that money too.....
