The dreaded comb-over is dead!

Just when you begin to wonder if our society has advanced.....develop a democracy? Done! Going to space? Done! Connecting everyone on the planet through a virtual portal? Done! And now......ridding men of baldness with the use of a simple comb?........Now done!

The FDA has found and awarded their seal of approval to the HairMax LaserComb. This comb uses Laser PhotoTherapy. The LaserComb harnesses the energizing and nourishing effects of Laser PhotoTherapy to make hair look healthy and vibrant. Its done through light energy. Seems all cells thrive in light and your hair is no different. Trees, plants, hair, whatever, seems its all the same. Amazingly enough, in the official trial 93% of participants saw an increase in hair growth. So I guess "it puts the lotion on to make the skin softer" and "it uses light to make the hair grow"!
I'm all about futuristic stuff but that's weird just weird. Now where can I find one of these?

Show your honey how thoughtful you are with a digital photo album.

We all know that Valentine's Day is right around the corner and finding a gift is always hard. As a guy we're always stuck with having to find that "special" gift anyway. Worry no more my friends, I have the answer. I give you the Optimus 7'' Digital Photo Frame.
The 7" Digital photo frame can show of hundreds of your (or her) favorite photos. Now in a revolving slideshow your favorite gal (or guy, hey we don't judge here) can see pictures that can remind them of all the fun you two have had together.

The Optimus frame has a native 640x480 which isn't HD quality but it works just fine for this application. You can upload your images from your computer to an SD or Compact Flash card (the frame can accept up to 2 GB versions of either) drop the card in and let the "ooh's" and "ahh's" begin.

It can also play mp3 and MPEG video files! So for an $80 investment and a little time (even less if you have access to your honey's computer because you know they have their favorite photos handy) and you end up looking like a hero.

Feel free to send your thank-you's to dutch@dutchistheman.com! (Little something I stole from Jimmy's site but if it works it works!)

Soon to be featured on "Pimp My Ride" I'm sure.

So often we're stuck in our metal coffins (i.e. cars) going to and from work and normally stuck in traffic to boot. Oh my friends, you're boredom from listening to the radio is over. Now concealed in the space of your visor is a DVD player/TV tuner connected to a 7 inch widescreen LCD.

The Sun Visor Theater replaces your factory visor (easy to install) and gives you a well-concealed media station that can play DVDs, CDs and Mp3s not to mention an analog tuner to let you watch the latest traffic report to see why you're at a stand still (the only drawback with the tuner is come 2009 all broadcast signals will swtich from analog to digital but that's 2 years away afterall). The 7 inch LCD screen has great picture quality and features touchscreen capability. The Visor even has a USB port so you can plug in your laptop (nothing like going over that presentation on the way to work) and a remote. Because who wants to reach the 9 inches to press a button!

Top all that off with a price point of around $300 (most in dash DVD players will set you back $1000) and this becomes the easiest and cheapest way to pimp out your ride. Gotta go, latest episode of "Lost" is playing in my truck.
